A Mental Health Practitioner worked at her local school district in Minnesota for many years until she developed a neurological disorder that caused dizziness, severe fatigue, inability to concentrate, and difficulty with speech that forced her out of work. She filed for disability benefits under her insurance policy, but Madison National denied her claim and stated that the documents did not support the inability to work in her occupation.

The insurance company denied a probation officer her Long Term Disability after she became unable to work with her clients due to her mental health.
